The add-on strengthens Apps Associates' Salesforce consulting and digital transformation capabilities (including Heroku and MuleSoft expertise) and provides Ethos employees and customers access to Apps Associates' broader technical team and services. Tequity acted as exclusive financial advisor to Ethos on the transaction.

AE Industrial Partners Acquires PCI

AE Industrial Partners (AEI) has acquired PCI, a Columbia, Maryland–based provider of cybersecurity, computer network operations (CNO), cloud engineering, systems engineering, enterprise IT, and data analytics for the U.S. intelligence and defense communities. The deal — terms not disclosed — represents AEI's ninth platform investment in Fund II and is intended to accelerate PCI's growth and reach into defense, intelligence, and national security markets.

Aptean Acquires Innovative Systems to Expand Apparel ERP and EDI Capabilities

Aptean acquired Innovative Systems, LLC, a provider of apparel-focused ERP software and EDI mapping/transaction services, expanding Aptean's offerings into the apparel, footwear and accessories verticals. Innovative Systems, founded in 1994 and headquartered in Laguna Hills, California with ~30 employees and 300+ customers, will bring Full Circle Apparel Software, Full Circle Lite (SaaS) and EDI Direct to Aptean's product portfolio.

AE Industrial Partners Acquires American Pacific Corporation

AE Industrial Partners (AEI) has acquired American Pacific Corporation, a Cedar City, Utah-based manufacturer of specialty chemicals and materials used in aerospace, defense, space launch and fire suppression applications, from Huntsman Family Investments. The deal, which closed Feb. 6, 2020, will position AEI to grow American Pacific as a platform investment and further support customers in national security and space programs.

Quad-C Management Recapitalizes Apps Associates

Quad-C Management completed a majority recapitalization of Apps Associates, an enterprise application services provider headquartered in Acton, Massachusetts. The transaction transfers ownership from BV Investment Partners to Quad-C, which plans to expand Apps Associates' service offerings and geographic footprint and appointed Larry Jones as chairman of the board.
