Cisco Acquires BroadSoft for $1.9B

Cisco agreed to acquire BroadSoft, a provider of cloud PBX, unified communications, team collaboration and contact center software, for $1.9 billion (paying $55 per share). The deal strengthens Cisco's software- and cloud-focused collaboration portfolio and brings BroadSoft's large service-provider customer base and cloud voice/contact-center capabilities into Cisco's applications group.

Cox Communications Acquires Logicworks

Cox Communications has acquired New York-based Logicworks, a managed cloud services provider that helps customers migrate, run and operate workloads on AWS and Azure. The deal will combine Logicworks with Cox Business’ RapidScale unit to broaden Cox’s cloud managed services capabilities and offer expanded cloud solutions to commercial customers across healthcare, education, financial services and government markets.

Wireless Logic Acquires Blue Wireless
