Amphenol Corporation Acquires Trexon from Audax Private Equity

Amphenol Corporation has completed its acquisition of Trexon from Audax Private Equity for approximately $1 billion in cash. Trexon, a Boston-headquartered maker of high-reliability cable and interconnect assemblies for defense and harsh environments, will be included in Amphenol's Harsh Environment Solutions segment and is expected to be accretive to earnings.

Trexon Acquires Intelliconnect

Trexon, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, has completed the acquisition of Intelliconnect, a Chelmsford, UK-based supplier of RF connectors, adapters, and cable assemblies. The deal adds Intelliconnect's design-led RF and cryogenic-capable product lines to Trexon's engineered products portfolio to expand capabilities across aerospace, defense, medical and high-reliability industrial end markets.

TJC, LP Acquires Insulation Technology Group from PHI Industrial

TJC, LP (formerly The Jordan Company) has acquired Insulation Technology Group (ITG), a global manufacturer of high‑voltage porcelain insulators, from PHI Industrial. ITG, formed from the LAPP and PPC brands, employs more than 1,200 people with production facilities in the United States, Europe and Brazil; TJC said it will support the company’s continued expansion into utility and electrification markets.

Trexon, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, has completed the acquisition of 603 Manufacturing, a value‑added manufacturer of high‑performance wire and cable assemblies including RF/microwave coaxial assemblies and electro‑mechanical box builds. The deal is an add‑on to Trexon’s Engineered Products Group intended to expand Trexon’s RF, ruggedized and space/aerospace capabilities and broaden its end‑market exposure in aerospace, space and telecommunications.

The deal brings IWG’s ~1,600+ employees and 17 manufacturing facilities into Atlas’ industrial manufacturing portfolio; Gregory J. Smith was named IWG President & CEO as part of the transition.
