World Insurance Associates LLC (WIA), a nationally ranked insurance brokerage based in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, acquired McMillan Insurance Group of Fort Worth, Texas, effective November 1, 2019. The acquisition expands WIA's transportation division and allows WIA to distribute niche commercial trucking insurance products into the Texas market; terms were not disclosed.

Worldwide Facilities Acquires Benchmark Management Group

The deal expands Worldwide Facilities' MGA platform by broadening its geographic footprint and specialty product offering; Benchmark principals Tim and Shawn Makowski joined Worldwide Facilities. Marsh, Berry & Company served as financial advisor to Benchmark.

Amwins Group Acquires Worldwide Facilities from Genstar Capital

The deal expands Amwins' specialty insurance capabilities and West Coast footprint; Genstar rolled nearly all of its equity and remains a minority shareholder in the combined business.
