Heartisan Foods Acquires North Country Packaging

Heartisan Foods, a Ronin Equity Partners-backed specialty cheese platform, has acquired North Country Packaging, a Barron County maker of cheese spreads and curds. The deal will triple Heartisan's manufacturing capacity, expand fulfillment for its Cheese Brothers e-commerce brand, and support new product launches; North Country co-founders Kendall and Maria Goossen will retain a meaningful stake in the combined business.

C-P Flexible Packaging Acquires Bass Flexible Packaging

C-P Flexible Packaging, a portfolio company of First Atlantic Capital, has acquired privately held Bass Flexible Packaging, Inc., expanding C-P’s capabilities in short-run, short-lead-time flexible packaging and entry into the confectionary and health & beauty end markets. The acquisition adds Bass’s premade pouches, stand-up pouches and shrink-sleeve capabilities to C-P’s North American footprint; terms were not disclosed.
