FleetPride Acquires Wheelco Truck & Trailer Parts and Service

FleetPride, the nation's largest independent distributor of aftermarket heavy-duty parts, has acquired the assets of Wheelco Truck & Trailer Parts and Service, a third-generation family business based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The acquisition adds six retail parts locations, two service centers, a distribution center and an OEM manufacturing division to FleetPride, expanding geographic density across the Upper Midwest and creating a new OE Solutions division to serve trailer and specialty equipment OEMs.

Wynnchurch Capital Acquires The Wheel Group

Wynnchurch Capital, a Chicago-area private equity firm, has acquired The Wheel Group, a designer and distributor of branded aftermarket wheels, specialty tires and related accessories based in Ontario, California. Wynnchurch said the investment will be a new platform to accelerate TWG's growth, leveraging the company's portfolio of proprietary brands, sourcing capabilities and 20 U.S. and Canadian sales and distribution centers.

Envoy Solutions Acquires Seven Companies from The Enterprises Group

Glenview, Illinois-based Envoy Solutions agreed to acquire seven Michigan-based companies from The Enterprises Group — KSS Enterprises, Sideline Sports, BBC Distributing, Energyst Solutions, Rapid Supply & Sales, EMack Manufacturing, and Star Flooring. The acquisition expands Envoy Solutions' product offerings in janitorial, foodservice, packaging and commercial flooring and marks the company's entry into Michigan, with the deal expected to close in Q4 2022 pending customary approvals.

Private Investor Acquires Fastco of Charlotte

Fastco of Charlotte (JLL49RS, L.L.C.), a Charlotte-based tool and fastener distributor serving commercial glazing, industrial and government customers, was sold to a private investor on April 7, 2022. Generational Equity advised the seller and CIBC assisted the buyer with acquisition funding.

Valnet Inc. Acquires TopSpeed.com

Valnet Inc., a Montreal-based digital content investment company, has completed the acquisition of TopSpeed.com, a long-running digital automotive publication founded in 2003. The deal expands Valnet's automotive portfolio (including HotCars.com) and increases its audience scale to roughly 175 million annual sessions across its automotive properties.

All Star Auto Lights Acquires Jante Wheel and Perfection Wheel
