Rouse Acquires Swedish IP Firm Valea AB

Rouse, a PE-backed global intellectual property services firm, has acquired Valea AB, a long-established Swedish IP firm with offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. The deal, supported by Rouse’s investor MML Capital, expands Rouse’s capabilities and presence in Sweden to better serve technology and greentech clients and deepen its European patent expertise.

Valeo is a pan‑European ambient food company headquartered in Dublin with a portfolio including Jacobs, Kettle and Rowse, generating roughly €1.1 billion in annual net sales and employing over 4,000 people; Bain said it will seek to accelerate growth organically and via acquisitions. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and the financial terms were not disclosed.
