Rakuten Symphony has agreed to acquire Robin.io, a Silicon Valley cloud-native technology provider, to integrate Robin.io's multi-cloud mobility, automation and orchestration capabilities into Rakuten Symphony's telco-cloud portfolio. The acquisition (terms confidential) will accelerate Rakuten Symphony's cloud-native offering for mobile operators and enterprises; Partha Seetala will become President of Rakuten Symphony's Unified Cloud business unit following the closing.

Apax Partners and Warburg Pincus Acquire T-Mobile Netherlands for €5.1bn

Funds advised by Apax Partners and Warburg Pincus have agreed to acquire T-Mobile Netherlands Holding B.V. from Deutsche Telekom AG and Tele2 AB in a deal valuing the company at an enterprise value of €5.1 billion. Under the new ownership, T-Mobile Netherlands will become an independent Dutch company and the buyers plan to support management in accelerating network and fibre-to-the-home growth while continuing to expand its consumer and fixed-broadband customer base.

Twig Group Acquires Mobi Market

London-based fintech Twig Group has acquired UK recommerce specialist Mobi Market in a deal worth over $10 million. The acquisition will let Twig embed Mobi Market's pre-owned mobile phone marketplace into its circular payments and banking products, strengthening its circular-economy proposition and merchant checkout capabilities.

The multi-utility service provider (3,100 employees) operates across the Netherlands providing energy & utility, connectivity and building installation services; Triton plans to invest to accelerate growth driven by the energy transition and digitalisation.

An affiliate of Sun European Partners has acquired MegaGroup, a Veghel-headquartered omnichannel wholesaler of water technic solutions serving installers, professional end-users, resellers and OEMs across Northwestern Europe. Sun European said it will use its operational toolkit and buy-and-build experience to accelerate MegaGroup’s organic growth and pursue selective acquisitions across existing and new markets.
