Funds advised by Triton have agreed to acquire 100% of VolkerWessels Verbindingen en Netwerken B.V. (V&N Group), the parent of Visser & Smit Hanab, VW Telecom and Homij. The multi-utility service provider (3,100 employees) operates across the Netherlands providing energy & utility, connectivity and building installation services; Triton plans to invest to accelerate growth driven by the energy transition and digitalisation.

Triton Combines Assemblin and Caverion to Form Assemblin Caverion Group

Triton is combining its portfolio companies Assemblin and Caverion into the newly formed Assemblin Caverion Group, creating a leading Northern European technical service and installation business. The combined group will be incorporated in Sweden, operate across around ten countries, generate roughly EUR 3.8 billion (SEK 43.5 billion) in annual turnover and employ about 21,900 people; leadership will be drawn from both businesses with Assemblin CEO Mats Johansson as Group CEO.

Grupo Fertiberia Acquires Van de Reijt

Grupo Fertiberia, a Triton-backed leader in EU crop nutrition, has agreed to acquire Van de Reijt, a long-established fertilizer wholesaler with waterfront bulk terminals in the Netherlands and Belgium. The acquisition strengthens Fertiberia’s distribution and logistics footprint in the Benelux to support sales of its low‑carbon and sustainable crop nutrition solutions; the deal was expected to close in Q1 2023 subject to customary approvals.

Triton (via Trisall AB) Acquires HiQ International AB

Triton Fund V, through its acquisition vehicle Trisall AB, acquired a controlling stake in Stockholm-based digital transformation and custom software firm HiQ International AB via a public tender offer at SEK 72 per share and has initiated compulsory acquisition of remaining shares with plans to de-list HiQ from Nasdaq Stockholm. The transaction gives Triton ownership of approximately 91% of HiQ and is positioned as a platform acquisition to invest in HiQ's growth and expand its position as a Northern European leader in digital services.
