Sotera Health Acquires Iotron Industries

Sotera Health has acquired Canadian-based Iotron Industries, expanding its electron beam (EBeam) sterilization footprint and adding Iotron's IMPELA accelerator expertise to its Sterigenics business. The acquisition brings Iotron's facilities in Indiana and British Columbia/Alberta into Sotera's global sterilization platform and strengthens Sterigenics' EBeam capabilities for medical device, pharmaceutical and industrial customers.

Keystone Capital Management has formed Gillson Sciences, a laboratory testing, monitoring and advisory platform focused on pharmaceuticals, biopharma, medical devices, healthcare and environmental sciences, by acquiring Azzur Labs (now Gillson Testing) and Micro Measurement Laboratories. Jason Fischer has been named CEO to lead the build-up strategy; terms were not disclosed.

Gibraltar Industries Acquires Assets of Thermo Energy Systems

Gibraltar Industries (Nasdaq: ROCK) acquired the assets of Canadian-based Thermo Energy Systems in an all-cash transaction to expand its commercial greenhouse and controlled-environment agriculture capabilities. Thermo is expected to contribute a run-rate of approximately $75 million of annual revenue and the deal strengthens Gibraltar's position in the biologically-grown organic food market.

Avalon GloboCare to Acquire Majority Interest in Laboratory Services MSO

Avalon GloboCare Corp. signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 60% interest in Laboratory Services MSO, LLC for total consideration of $31 million (cash, preferred stock and contingent payments). Laboratory Services is a Costa Mesa, California-based reference laboratory with 2021 unaudited revenue in excess of $25 million and two California locations; co-founder Sarah Cox will join Avalon as COO and a director. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and financing and is expected to close within the timeline described in the agreement.

Gillson Sciences Acquires SanAir Technologies Laboratory

Gillson Sciences, a Chicago-based laboratory testing and scientific solutions provider and portfolio company of Keystone Capital Management, has acquired SanAir Technologies Laboratory, an accredited environmental and industrial hygiene testing laboratory headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. The add-on expands Gillson's capabilities into environmental testing (air, asbestos, Legionella, lead/metals, industrial hygiene) and broadens its service offering across environmental and industrial end markets.
