OrthoPediatrics Corp. Acquires Pega Medical

OrthoPediatrics Corp. agreed to acquire Pega Medical for up to $33 million (approximately $31 million cash plus $2 million in stock) to expand its pediatric trauma and deformity product portfolio, including the Fassier‑Duval Telescopic IM System. The deal brings Pega Medical — a pediatric orthopedic implant developer based near Montreal, Canada — into OrthoPediatrics' global offering and will be financed in part by an expanded credit facility.

IZI Medical (Shore Capital-backed) Acquires RadioMed Corporation and VISICOIL from IBA S.A.

IZI Medical Products, LLC, a Shore Capital Partners-backed interventional radiology device platform, acquired RadioMed Corporation and its VISICOIL fiducial marker product family from IBA S.A. The purchase is an add-on to IZI’s portfolio—its fourth add-on in 24 months—and is intended to expand IZI’s imaging marker and interventional oncology offerings through RadioMed’s distribution channels and IZI’s direct sales force.

Envista Acquires Osteogenics Biomedical Business

Envista Holdings Corporation entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Osteogenics Biomedical, Allotech LLC and OBI Biologics (collectively “Osteogenics”), a developer of regenerative dental bone grafting products sold primarily under the Cytoplast brand. The deal, subject to customary regulatory approvals and expected to close in the third quarter, expands Envista’s capabilities in regenerative solutions for periodontists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons and implant dentistry; the transaction is not subject to a financing condition or shareholder vote.

Valencia Capital Acquires ACOR Orthopaedic, Inc.

The deal expands Zimmer Biomet’s hip portfolio with OrthoGrid’s Hip AI platform, two additional FDA-cleared orthopedic applications and an IP portfolio of over 40 patents; the transaction is expected to close by Q4 2024 pending customary conditions.
