Corpay, Inc. (NYSE: CPAY) has completed the acquisition of GPS Capital Markets, LLC, a business-to-business cross-border payments and treasury management provider. The deal expands Corpay's cross-border capabilities, adds FX netting technology and specialist teams, and will increase the company's corporate payments revenue and customer reach while Corpay also completed the divestiture of Comdata Merchant POS Solutions to PDI Technologies.

Corpay Acquires Paymerang from Aldrich Capital Partners

Corpay (NYSE: CPAY) has agreed to acquire Paymerang, a Richmond, Virginia-based provider of accounts payable automation and payment solutions, from Aldrich Capital Partners. The acquisition expands Corpay's B2B payments and AP automation capabilities across education, healthcare, hospitality, and manufacturing end markets; the deal is expected to close in Q2 2024 subject to regulatory approvals.

TPG and Corpay Acquire AvidXchange

TPG acquired a majority interest in AvidXchange in a take-private transaction valued at approximately $2.2 billion, with Corpay purchasing a 34% minority stake for about $550 million. The deal will make AvidXchange a private company as TPG leads efforts to accelerate growth while Corpay partners strategically to expand payments and AP automation capabilities.

Hub International Acquires Alpha Pension Group, Inc.

The transaction (terms undisclosed) brings Alpha's investment analytics and fiduciary governance capabilities into Hub New England to strengthen Hub's retirement and wealth management services in the region; Alpha's President & CEO Rich Cawthorne and CFO Mark Salamone will join Hub New England.

Global Payments Acquires Worldpay in Three-Way Transaction with FIS and GTCR

Global Payments has completed the acquisition of Worldpay from GTCR and FIS for $24.25 billion in cash and stock as part of a three-way transaction that also saw FIS acquire Global Payments' Issuer Solutions business for $13.5 billion. GTCR will receive a mix of cash and Global Payments stock and will retain approximately 15% ownership in the combined company; the transactions reposition Global Payments as a leading pure-play commerce solutions provider and bolster FIS' issuing capabilities.

Nuvei Acquires Paya for $1.3 Billion

Nuvei Corporation agreed to acquire Paya Holdings Inc. in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $1.3 billion (USD $9.75 per share). The deal combines Nuvei's global payment platform with Paya's U.S. integrated-payments and ISV capabilities to accelerate growth in eCommerce, integrated payments and B2B end markets.
