Alta Equipment Group Acquires Ambrose Equipment

Alta Equipment Group Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Ambrose Equipment, LLC, a family-owned equipment distributor and LeeBoy asphalt equipment dealer based in Hooksett, New Hampshire. The acquisition expands Alta's footprint to 39 locations across 10 states; Ambrose generated approximately $35 million of revenue and $3.1 million of adjusted EBITDA on a trailing-twelve-month basis. The asset purchase is expected to close before year-end, with terms to be disclosed upon closing.

The acquisition expands Alta's construction equipment footprint into Canada (Toronto and Montreal markets), adds an exclusive McCloskey distributorship, and is expected to be accretive to the company's cash flow conversion and earnings per share.
