Cobepa Acquires Majority Stake in Itineris

Cobepa has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Itineris, a Ghent-based provider of customer information systems and utility software. Existing institutional investors PMV, Gimv, Smartfin and SFPIM will exit, while founder and CEO Edgard Vermeersch remains the largest non-institutional shareholder; the investment is intended to accelerate growth, expand Itineris' global footprint, and strengthen its software capabilities for water and energy utilities.

Cobepa S.A. Provides Growth Equity to Precision Orthopedics

Cobepa S.A., a global private equity firm, closed a growth equity investment in Precision Orthopedics, a Laurel, Maryland-based provider of integrated orthopedic surgical care. Precision will use the capital to bolster operations and pursue geographic expansion — including opening additional ambulatory surgery centers and partnering with hospitals — and Cobepa North America team members joined Precision's board.

The Jordan Company (Resolute IV) Acquires Heartland Home Services

An affiliate of The Resolute Fund IV (managed by The Jordan Company) acquired Heartland Home Services from North Branch Capital, with Cobepa taking a significant minority stake and North Branch remaining a minority investor. Carlyle's Global Credit platform led and structured the debt financing to support the transaction. The investment will provide Heartland with resources to drive operational efficiencies and pursue organic and inorganic growth across its Midwestern residential HVAC, plumbing, electrical and indoor air quality platform.

Cobepa Acquires Majority Stake in SmartSD

Cobepa Acquires Majority Stake in Ascentiel Groupe

Cobepa has acquired a majority stake in Ascentiel Groupe, a French digital property & casualty insurance brokerage, in partnership with Ascentiel's management; Amundi Private Equity Funds took a minority stake. The sellers were IK Small Cap II (IK Partners), ISAI Gestion and Bertrand Liber (who reinvested); the deal closed on 19 December 2024 and Ascentiel will continue pursuing niche P&C and European expansion.
