AVALT, a Boston-based private equity-focused family office, and VantEdge, a Kansas City-based family office investment firm, have acquired Suburban Intermediate Holdco, Inc., a Waukesha, Wisconsin provider of drywall, insulation, steel framing and custom finish installation services. The sponsors invested alongside members of Suburban's management and plan to pursue an acquisition-driven strategy to expand the platform's geographic footprint beyond Wisconsin; terms were not disclosed. High Street Capital sold the company.

Clearstead Advisors Acquires Avalon Trust

Clearstead Advisors has acquired Avalon Trust, a Santa Fe-based wealth management and trust firm, expanding Clearstead's presence in the Southwest and bolstering its trust capabilities. Avalon — which manages approximately $2 billion in assets and has 13 employees — will join Clearstead's platform, with Avalon leaders becoming partners and the combined firm overseeing roughly $28 billion in assets under advisement and management.

AVALT and VantEdge Launch Wall Works Holdings; Acquire Optimum Building Systems

AVALT and VantEdge formed Wall Works Holdings, a platform to partner with regional specialty contractors in the finishing trades, and announced the acquisition of Optimum Building Systems as the platform's second regional hub. Optimum, founded in 1990 and headquartered in Litchfield, New Hampshire, provides drywall, acoustic ceiling tile, waterproofing and exterior cladding installation services to general contractors across northern New England; terms were not disclosed.

Incline Equity Partners Acquires Alliance Environmental Group

Pittsburgh-based private equity firm Incline Equity Partners has acquired Alliance Environmental Group, a California-headquartered provider of environmental remediation and indoor air quality services. Alliance, previously a portfolio company of MFG Partners and ORIX Corporation USA Private Equity Solutions, operates 14 locations across CA, AZ, NV and WA; Incline plans to support geographic and capability expansion and further consolidation in the sector. Terms were not disclosed; Baird served as financial advisor to Alliance.
