The add-on expands Optimum/Wall Works' scale and service capabilities across New England in commercial framing, drywall, and insulation, and is supported by Wall Works' sponsors AVALT and VantEdge Partners.

AVALT, a Boston-based private equity-focused family office, and VantEdge, a Kansas City-based family office investment firm, have acquired Suburban Intermediate Holdco, Inc., a Waukesha, Wisconsin provider of drywall, insulation, steel framing and custom finish installation services. The sponsors invested alongside members of Suburban's management and plan to pursue an acquisition-driven strategy to expand the platform's geographic footprint beyond Wisconsin; terms were not disclosed. High Street Capital sold the company.

Vantem Acquires Affinity Building Systems

Greensboro, North Carolina–based modular technology company Vantem has acquired Lakeland, Georgia–based Affinity Building Systems, a regional modular home manufacturer serving the Southeast. The deal expands Vantem’s U.S. footprint as part of a strategy to establish 20 plants nationwide and will integrate Vantem’s energy-efficient, climate-resilient building technology into Affinity’s product portfolio.

MTL Holdings Acquires Citadel Architectural Products

nVent Completes Acquisition of Avail Infrastructure Solutions' Electrical Products Group

nVent Electric plc completed the acquisition of the enclosures, switchgear and bus systems businesses (the "Electrical Products Group") of Avail Infrastructure Solutions for $975 million in cash. The business — a North American provider serving power utilities, data centers and renewables with ~1,100 employees and nine U.S. manufacturing locations — will be operated predominantly within nVent's Systems Protection segment to strengthen its infrastructure offerings.

Naxicap Partners Acquires VuWall

The deal aligns VuWall with Naxicap’s existing portfolio companies Guntermann & Drunck (G&D) and Tritec Electronic to drive product and go-to-market synergies across control-room hardware and software; AQ Technology Partners served as VuWall’s exclusive financial advisor.
