Omaha-based Medical Solutions has acquired Charlotte-based WorldWide HealthStaff Solutions, a direct-hire international nurse and allied health recruitment firm. WorldWide HealthStaff will continue to operate under its own brand within the Medical Solutions family to expand Medical Solutions’ international recruitment capabilities and address clinician shortages in the U.S.; terms were not disclosed.

Staffing 360 Solutions Acquires Headway Workforce Solutions

Staffing 360 Solutions, Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire Headway Workforce Solutions for up to approximately $14 million in a combination of preferred stock and earn-out cash. The acquisition adds Headway’s national staffing operations, proprietary recruiting technologies and a 3-million candidate database to Staffing 360’s buy-and-build consolidation strategy.

Trinity Health Acquires Majority Stake in Premier Health

Trinity Health acquired a majority ownership stake in Premier Health, a national operator of health system‑branded urgent care clinics headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Under the partnership Premier Health will operate about 20 existing Trinity Health urgent care locations and plans to significantly expand its urgent care footprint across multiple states to improve access and integrate urgent care with Trinity's broader care network.

Fortis Healthcare Solutions (Prime Time Healthcare) Acquires AB Staffing

Premier Health Acquires Umana Holdings and Canadian Health Care Agency

Premier Health of America Inc. entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire 100% of Umana Holdings Inc. and its operating subsidiary Canadian Health Care Agency (CHCA) via a newly formed wholly owned subsidiary for total consideration of C$10.5M to C$14.5M (cash, with deferred payments tied to performance). CHCA, based in Cambridge, Ontario, provides specialized nursing services (notably to Indigenous Services Canada in remote northern communities) and will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Premier Health as part of the company’s expansion outside Québec into Ontario and northern regions.

Patient Square Capital Acquires Premier, Inc.

Patient Square Capital, a healthcare-focused investment firm, has completed its $2.6 billion acquisition of Premier, Inc. Under the deal, Premier will be taken private, delisted from Nasdaq, and Premier stockholders will receive $28.25 per share in cash. The transaction positions Patient Square to grow Premier's technology-driven data, analytics, supply chain and consulting offerings.
