The capital will support recruitment of additional advisers, expansion of Advanta Wealth’s services (including mortgage and insurance brokerage) and target acquisitions of owner-managed financial advisory firms; Beech Tree directors have joined the Advanta board.

Advanta Solutions Acquires Genesis Financial Planning Ltd

Advanta Solutions, the Beech Tree-backed wealth management platform, has acquired London-based advice firm Genesis Financial Planning Ltd in an undisclosed deal that adds approximately £150m of AUM to Advanta. The acquisition brings Genesis founder Adam Horn, his clients and staff into Advanta as part of the platform's ongoing roll-up strategy of acquiring high-quality adviser firms from retiring owners.

The deals add approximately £900 million of assets under advice, 2,100 households and four new offices, as Perspective continues a roll-up strategy to scale its advisory platform and absorb regulatory/administrative costs for smaller practices.
