Huron Capital Acquires RK Electric to Launch ExecFactor Electrical Services Platform

Huron Capital has acquired RK Electric, a Fremont, California-based full-service electrical contractor, to serve as the cornerstone of its new ExecFactor electrical services platform. RK Electric's existing management will remain in place while Huron and certain existing LPs provide capital to pursue a buy-and-build strategy focused on mission-critical electrical and low-voltage services across semiconductor, biotech, EV/battery and institutional end markets.

HKW Acquires Electric Equipment & Engineering Co.

HKW, a middle-market private equity firm, has acquired Electric Equipment & Engineering Co. (EEE), a Denver-based designer and manufacturer of electrical power distribution products serving data centers, telecommunications, broadband and utilities. The company was owned by the third-generation Morroni family prior to the transaction; financial terms were not disclosed and financing was provided by Barings and Siguler Guff.

Westinghouse Acquires Midwest Equipment Sales with Financing from WhiteHorse Capital

WhiteHorse Capital provided a new first-lien credit facility to support the acquisition, refinance existing debt, and pay related transaction expenses; Westinghouse says the deal will help restore its manufacturing and product-innovation capabilities and leverage MWE's retail relationships.

Warren Equity Partners Acquires MacQueen Equipment

Warren Equity Partners has acquired MacQueen Equipment, a St. Paul-based value-added distributor of environmental and emergency equipment, from Rotunda Capital Partners. Rotunda had partnered with MacQueen since 2018 and grew the business through seven add-on acquisitions to a 15-location, 12-state platform; MacQueen's CEO Dan Gage will continue to lead the company under the new ownership.

Park Energy Services, a Rock Hill Capital portfolio company, acquired certain lower-horsepower operating compression assets from Archrock, Inc., expanding its footprint in South Texas and Pennsylvania. The deal increases Park's customer base and service capabilities as it pursues consolidation of the fragmented lower-horsepower compression segment.
