HES Facilities LLC Acquires WFF Facility Services and Clean‑Tech Company

HES Facilities LLC, backed by private equity firm Nautic Partners, has acquired WFF Facility Services and Clean‑Tech Company in a deal that consolidates regional janitorial, groundskeeping, and facility management capabilities under HES. The transaction positions HES as a national leader in education‑focused facilities management and will keep WFF and Clean‑Tech management (including Jonathan Campbell and the Fiala family) as shareholders and operators while Nautic and HES drive further add‑on growth.

Partners Group Acquires Systems Maintenance Services (SMS)

Partners Group has agreed to acquire Systems Maintenance Services (SMS), a Charlotte-based global provider of IT hardware support and data center lifecycle services, from funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners and Summit Partners. SMS, which reported roughly $245 million in 2015 revenue and employs over 900 engineers across 100+ service centers, will work with Partners Group to expand its global footprint and service portfolio both organically and through add-on acquisitions.

EQT Infrastructure Acquires Majority Stake in Heritage Environmental Services

EQT Infrastructure VI has agreed to acquire a majority position in Heritage Environmental Services (HES) from The Heritage Group. HES, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, operates 37 regulated facilities in the U.S., employs roughly 1,600 people, and provides industrial and hazardous waste management, on‑site support, emergency response and sustainability services to more than 1,800 customers; EQT says it will support HES's growth, digitalization and operational improvements.

FalconPoint Partners Acquires SMS (Scrap Metal Services)

FalconPoint Partners has acquired SMS (a carve-out of Scrap Metal Services LLC), a provider of outsourced steel mill services and marine vessel decommissioning, and has committed $500 million to support the business's growth, technology modernization, and acquisition pipeline. The deal positions FalconPoint to scale SMS's commercial capabilities and expand operations across the United States, Europe and South America while preserving SMS's management team and safety-first service model.

Nautic Partners Makes Growth Investment in SPS Health

HSI is majority‑owned by Waud Capital Partners, which has supported HSI's growth through add-on acquisitions.
