The add-on expands eShipping's footprint into Virginia (IL2000 is headquartered in Virginia Beach) and broadens its managed transportation and TMS capabilities; IL2000 has roughly 33 employees.

ShipX Acquires Princeton Logistics Group and TriStar Carriers

E2open Acquires Logistyx Technologies for $185MM

E2open Parent Holdings, Inc. acquired Logistyx Technologies, a cloud-based global multi-carrier parcel and e-commerce shipping software provider, for a total purchase price of $185 million. The acquisition (previous owners Kidd & Company and Firmament exited) expands E2open’s parcel management and e-commerce fulfillment capabilities and is expected to accelerate subscription revenue growth and cross-selling to enterprise clients.

Transport Investments Acquires SmartWay Transportation

(a Gemspring Capital portfolio company) has acquired SmartWay Transportation, LLC, a multimodal freight brokerage and transportation management firm based in Overland Park, Kansas. The transaction is an add-on to Transport’s platform intended to expand its brokerage and transportation-management capabilities and give SmartWay’s ~800 customers access to Transport’s broader capacity and value-added logistics services.
