Iyuno Media Group Acquires SDI Media

Iyuno Media Group has acquired 100% of SDI Media from Imagica Group Inc., combining two leading media localization providers to create the Iyuno‑SDI Group. The deal, supported by financial partners Altor, Shamrock Capital and SoftBank Ventures Asia, expands global scale, capabilities and technology for dubbing, subtitling and media localization services across film, broadcast and streaming platforms.

The capital will support Iyuno-SDI's strategy to expand and transform its localization services using AI and neural machine translation, after the company's recent acquisition of SDI Media.

TransPerfect Acquires Blu Digital Group

Blu Digital Group will operate as a division of TransPerfect Media, combining Blu's SaaS products and automation technologies with TransPerfect's AI-driven localization and global language services to expand media localization and distribution capabilities.

Genius Brands Acquires WOW! Unlimited Media

Genius Brands International (NASDAQ: GNUS) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire WOW! Unlimited Media Inc. for approximately US$53 million in cash and stock, creating a combined animation and digital media company. The deal adds WOW!'s Frederator and Mainframe studios, a large YouTube network and contracted production backlog, expanding Genius Brands' production capacity, audience demographics and monetization channels.

Media Do International Acquires Supadu Ltd.

Media Do International, the San Diego–based subsidiary of Japan's Media Do Co., Ltd., has acquired all shares of UK-based Supadu Ltd., a provider of websites and e-commerce solutions for publishers. TransPerfect Acquires SPEEECH Audiolingual Labs

TransPerfect has acquired Munich-based dubbing and localization studio SPEEECH Audiolingual Labs and will integrate it into TransPerfect Media to expand its media localization and dubbing capabilities in Germany. Financial terms were not disclosed; SPEEECH founder Stephan Kleinschmidt will become division president of TransPerfect Media Germany.
