Carlyle to Acquire Pr0ph3cy Group (to be renamed NEVERHACK) from IK Partners

Global investment firm Carlyle (via its Carlyle Europe Technology Partners platform) has entered into exclusivity to acquire IK Partners’ stake in Pr0ph3cy Group, a French cybersecurity services group that will be rebranded NEVERHACK. IK will reinvest alongside Carlyle and management; the deal supports Pr0ph3cy’s continued buy-and-build strategy to broaden its service portfolio and accelerate international expansion. Completion is subject to works council consultation and customary regulatory approvals.

Truesec, founded in 2005 and headquartered in Stockholm, is a leading independent Swedish cybersecurity services provider (~180 employees) and IK will support its international expansion and continued capability development.
