Pacteon, a packaging automation platform backed by GenNx360 Capital Partners, has acquired Phoenix Wrappers, a Laval, Quebec-based manufacturer of semi- and fully-automatic stretch wrapping equipment. The acquisition adds stretch-wrapping technology to Pacteon's portfolio and expands its end-to-end packaging line integration and automation capabilities.

Sciens Building Solutions Acquires Electronic Security Solutions (ESS)

Sciens Building Solutions, a San Francisco-based building solutions platform backed by The Carlyle Group, has acquired Electronic Security Solutions (ESS), a Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania-based fire and security integrator founded in 1999. The add-on expands Sciens' footprint into the Philadelphia tri-state market (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware) and augments its capabilities in fire detection, alarm and security services.

Pacteon Group (GenNx360 Portfolio) Acquires Descon Integrated Conveyor Solutions

ATS Corporation to Acquire Paxiom Group

ATS Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Paxiom Group, a Montreal-based provider of primary, secondary and end-of-line packaging machines serving food & beverage, cannabis and pharmaceutical customers. Paxiom generated approximately $67 million of revenue and adjusted EBITDA margin above 19% in calendar 2023, employs roughly 200 people, and will join ATS' Products and Food Technology business; the deal is expected to close in Q3 2024 with funding from cash and the company's revolving credit facility.

Newterra Acquires Environmental Site Solutions (ESS)

The deal expands Newterra's filtration capabilities and filter-media supply on the U.S. West Coast and broadens service coverage across municipal drinking water, construction dewatering, remediation and industrial markets.
