Learning Pool Acquires Remote Learner to Accelerate US Expansion

Learning Pool, a PE-backed learning technology group, has acquired Remote Learner, a Denver-based LMS specialist, to grow its North American presence and add capability to its portfolio. Remote Learner — which has around 35 staff and 300+ customers including Indeed and Royal Caribbean — will be led by Dr. Page Chen as CEO and join the Learning Pool Group board.

Datadog Acquires CoScreen

Datadog has acquired CoScreen, a real-time collaboration platform for engineering teams, to add in-product screen sharing and joint workspaces to its observability and security platform. The deal brings CoScreen's capabilities for pair programming, incident response and debugging into Datadog's SaaS offering to improve developer productivity and reduce mean time to resolution.

Marlin Equity Partners Completes Majority Growth Investment in Learning Pool

Marlin Equity Partners has agreed to a majority growth investment in Learning Pool, acquiring the shareholding of Carlyle Cardinal Ireland to support the eLearning provider's continued organic and inorganic growth. The investment will back product and geographic expansion, additional acquisitions and hiring (Learning Pool currently has ~260 employees and plans to add 100 more), while Learning Pool's management has reinvested alongside the transaction.

Marlin Equity Partners announced the acquisition of Switzerland-based People-Analytix AG, an AI-driven employee skills management platform, which will be merged into Learning Pool, a Marlin portfolio company. The deal adds People-Analytix's multilingual skills ontology and AI capabilities to Learning Pool's eLearning and talent development offerings to better identify skills gaps and match employees to jobs, projects and learning.
