Vector Solutions acquired LiveSafe, a mobile risk intelligence and safety communications platform, to add real-time incident prevention, reporting, and response capabilities to its SaaS product portfolio. LiveSafe, founded in 2012 and headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, serves over 400 customers across commercial, education, and government markets and will be integrated into Vector’s Risk Management solution to expand its safety and operational readiness capabilities.

Vector Solutions Acquires Envisage Technologies

Tampa-based Vector Solutions has acquired Bloomington-based Envisage Technologies, integrating Envisage’s Acadis Readiness Suite into Vector’s public-safety SaaS platform to broaden training, compliance and performance offerings for first responders. Norwest Venture Partners, which previously held a majority stake in Envisage, will remain a minority investor in the combined entity; Shea & Company served as Envisage/Norwest financial advisor on the deal.

Versaterm Public Safety Acquires FivePoint Solutions

Versaterm Public Safety, a Banneker Partners portfolio company, has acquired FivePoint Solutions, a Lexington, South Carolina-based provider of data integration and case management software for courts and public safety agencies. The acquisition adds FivePoint's FocalPoint, StreetSmart and CaseWorX products to Versaterm's CAD and RMS ecosystem to improve interoperability, data exchange and situational awareness for law enforcement and judicial customers.

Bain Capital Acquires Frontline Road Safety from The Sterling Group

Bain Capital Private Equity has agreed to acquire Frontline Road Safety, the largest U.S. provider of pavement marking and roadway safety services, from The Sterling Group. Frontline, headquartered in Denver with over 50 locations and approximately 1,750 employees, will continue to be led by CEO Mitch Williams and the existing management team, which will remain significant investors; financial terms were not disclosed.
