United Building Solutions Acquires DFW Mechanical Group

United Building Solutions, a PE-backed national commercial HVAC platform, has acquired DFW Mechanical Group, a full-service commercial and industrial mechanical contractor based in Wylie, Texas. The add-on expands UBS's footprint across the Southeast and South-Central United States and broadens its HVAC, plumbing, heating, and piping capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed.

NexCore Acquires Action Air Systems, Accutemp Engineering and FX Automation

NexCore, the Trinity Hunt Partners-backed commercial HVAC platform, has acquired Action Air Systems (Connecticut), Accutemp Engineering (Massachusetts) and FX Automation (Massachusetts) as tuck-ins to expand its Northeast footprint and capabilities. The three acquisitions added more than 155 employees and bring the NexCore team to over 900 employees nationwide, while adding building controls expertise in-house via the FX Automation tuck-in to Accutemp.

Northwinds Services Group Acquires All-Temp Systems Mechanical, Inc.

Northwinds Services Group has acquired All-Temp Systems Mechanical, Inc., a Milford, Massachusetts HVAC company founded in 1982. The deal is an add-on to Northwinds' HVAC and plumbing platform (PE-backed by TruArc Partners) and expands Northwinds' service footprint in eastern Massachusetts and the New England region.

Sound Partners and Calico Group Acquire Tradewinds Mechanical and Form The Mechanical Group

Sound Partners and Calico Group have jointly acquired Tradewinds Mechanical, LLC, a Las Vegas–based commercial HVAC‑R services company, and have combined it with acquisitions of S&R Air Conditioning (Los Angeles) and Climate Specialists (Austin) to form The Mechanical Group. The investors plan to grow a Southwest HVAC‑R platform, retain existing operating teams (with Steven Brayet serving as President and Matt Shaw as COO), and continue expanding service offerings; financial terms were not disclosed.

DXP Enterprises Acquires Hennesy Mechanical Sales LLC

DXP Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ: DXPE) has completed the acquisition of Hennesy Mechanical Sales LLC, a manufacturers' representative specializing in municipal water, wastewater and industrial pump sales, service and repair across Arizona, New Mexico and West Texas. The deal, funded with cash on DXP's balance sheet, adds approximately $10.1 million of LTM sales and $1.2 million of adjusted EBITDA and is intended to expand DXP's Water platform capabilities and geographic reach.
