Silver State HVAC, a platform backed by The Edgewater Funds, acquired four regional commercial HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical service providers — Westaire (Ventura, CA), Tri-Point Refrigeration (Austin, TX), The Whitman Co. (Anaheim, CA) and Atlantic Coast Restaurant & Mechanical Services (Miami, FL). The add-on deals expand Silver State’s geographic footprint across the southern United States and enhance its capabilities in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment installation and related mechanical services.

SkyKnight Capital has launched FirstCall Mechanical Group, a commercial services platform led by Founder and CEO Evan Eachus and headquartered in Austin, Texas. SkyKnight and FirstCall brought four regional operations into the platform — STR Mechanical, Technical Services (Virginia), TimCo Heating and Air, and the services assets of JAX Refrigeration — creating a Southeast-focused provider of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing services with roughly 150 employees.

Wind Point Partners Acquires Zone Mechanical

The Arcticom Group Acquires Tomco Mechanical Corporation

The Arcticom Group, a Walnut Creek, California-based HVACR platform backed by A&M Capital Partners, has acquired Tomco Mechanical Corporation, a Westbury, New York provider of commercial refrigeration and HVAC services. The acquisition expands Arcticom's footprint to the East Coast and strengthens its service offering to national and regional grocery and commercial customers, with Tomco's management (led by John Martinelli) remaining in leadership and retaining a meaningful ownership stake.

TurnPoint Services Acquires Cool Air Mechanical

TurnPoint Services Group has acquired Cool Air Mechanical, LLC, a Marietta, Georgia-based HVAC installation and maintenance company that sells primarily through Costco and Home Depot in the Atlanta metro area. The deal is TurnPoint's eleventh acquisition and expands the platform into the Atlanta market and the national Big Box sales channel; Cool Air's founder Jake Mazhar will continue to lead the business under the Cool Air brand.
