American City Business Journals Takes Majority Stake in BizEquity

American City Business Journals (ACBJ) acquired a majority ownership stake in BizEquity, a Philadelphia-based provider of cloud-based business valuation software, and will make a significant capital investment to accelerate the company's growth. BizEquity’s SaaS valuation platform is used by hundreds of financial institutions and thousands of advisors; financial terms were not disclosed and Raymond James advised BizEquity on the transaction.

IBJ Media Acquires Grow INdiana Media Ventures (Inside INdiana Business)

IBJ Media has acquired Grow INdiana Media Ventures LLC, the parent company of the Inside INdiana Business brand, to expand its statewide business news reach. The Inside INdiana Business television and radio operations will become a division of IBJ Media, led by founder Gerry Dick; terms were not disclosed.

Sports Business Journal Acquires National Sports Forum

Sports Business Journal (SBJ) has agreed to acquire the National Sports Forum, the long-running annual conference for team and league sports professionals founded by Ron Seaver. The deal expands SBJ’s events portfolio and SBJ will keep Ron Seaver on as Managing Director of the National Sports Forum, with the acquisition expected to close by the end of March.

Green Street Acquires Australian Property Journal

Nelson Yap, the founder and owner of Australian Property Journal, will join the Green Street News Australia team as the publication is rebranded to Green Street News Australia.

G/O Media Acquires Quartz

Quartz — known for its Quartz Daily Brief newsletter and global business reporting — will join G/O Media's portfolio of digital brands, with Quartz leadership (including co-founder Zach Seward) remaining in senior editorial/management roles and no layoffs planned as part of the deal.

BridgeTower Media Acquires ColoradoBiz
