Cinven Agrees to Acquire MBCC Admixtures from Sika

International private equity firm Cinven has signed an agreement to acquire MBCC Group’s Admixtures business from Sika AG. MBCC Admixtures, headquartered in Mannheim, Germany, is a global manufacturer of concrete admixtures with more than 1,600 employees and 35 production sites; the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to complete in the first half of the year.

Meridian Adhesives Group Acquires E-Chem

Meridian Adhesives Group has acquired E-Chem, a New Mexico-based designer and manufacturer of epoxy polymer products for concrete. E-Chem will join Meridian’s Infrastructure Division to expand Meridian’s presence in the infrastructure and concrete rehabilitation markets and leverage Meridian’s distributor network and resources to accelerate product development and market penetration.

APPLIED Adhesives Acquires American Chemical

APPLIED Adhesives, a custom adhesive solutions provider based in Minnetonka, Minnesota, has acquired American Chemical, a regional supplier of adhesives and sealants located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The acquisition strengthens APPLIED Adhesives' technical capabilities, in-house lab services and regional customer support; Krahn Capital Group advised American Chemical and the seller was former owner Dennis Werneke.

APPLIED Adhesives Acquires BTmix and HG Adhesive Dispensing

H.B. Fuller Acquires Adhezion Biomedical and XCHEM International

H.B. Fuller Company completed two strategic acquisitions: Adhezion Biomedical, a U.S. medical adhesives business, and XCHEM International, a UAE-based specialty adhesives and coatings manufacturer. The deals expand H.B. Fuller’s capabilities in medical/topical skin-bonding adhesives and establish its first manufacturing presence outside the U.S. for its Construction Adhesives (CA) business, contributing an estimated $17 million in revenue and $2 million in adjusted EBITDA for fiscal 2023.
