Sherwin‑Williams Acquires Sika's European Industrial Coatings Business

The Sherwin‑Williams Company completed its acquisition of the European industrial coatings business of Sika AG, which will join Sherwin‑Williams' Performance Coatings Group. The business is based in Germany (with sales/technical support in Poland, Austria and Switzerland), contributes approximately CHF 75 million in 2020 sales, and about 115 Sika employees will join Sherwin‑Williams.

Euclid Chemical Acquires Brett Admixtures

KCC Corporation, the Seoul-based chemicals manufacturer, has entered into an agreement to fully acquire Momentive Performance Materials Group, consolidating ownership and resulting in the exit of minority shareholder SJL Partners LLC. The transaction, which remains subject to customary closing conditions, brings Momentive (a global silicones and specialty materials manufacturer headquartered in Niskayuna, New York) under 100% KCC ownership to support expanded collaboration and capability growth.

Quikrete Holdings Acquires Summit Materials for $11.5B

Polytek Development Corp. Acquires BCC Products, Inc.

Polytek Development Corp., a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners, has acquired BCC Products, Inc., a Franklin, Indiana-based manufacturer of specialty tooling, mold making and casting polymers. The transaction expands Polytek’s manufacturing and formulation capabilities across automotive, aerospace, foundry and marine end markets; BCC’s president Roger Brunette will remain with the combined company to support growth and integration.
