Sherwin‑Williams Acquires Sika's European Industrial Coatings Business

The Sherwin‑Williams Company completed its acquisition of the European industrial coatings business of Sika AG, which will join Sherwin‑Williams' Performance Coatings Group. The business is based in Germany (with sales/technical support in Poland, Austria and Switzerland), contributes approximately CHF 75 million in 2020 sales, and about 115 Sika employees will join Sherwin‑Williams.

MBCC Admixtures, headquartered in Mannheim, Germany, is a global manufacturer of concrete admixtures with more than 1,600 employees and 35 production sites; the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to complete in the first half of the year.
