Sherwin‑Williams Acquires Sika's European Industrial Coatings Business

The Sherwin‑Williams Company completed its acquisition of the European industrial coatings business of Sika AG, which will join Sherwin‑Williams' Performance Coatings Group. The business is based in Germany (with sales/technical support in Poland, Austria and Switzerland), contributes approximately CHF 75 million in 2020 sales, and about 115 Sika employees will join Sherwin‑Williams.

Sikich Acquires Assets of Four Leaf LLC

Sikich has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Four Leaf LLC, a technology services firm that builds scalable SaaS/PaaS applications and systems integrations for state and local government (notably emergency services). Four Leaf's founder and CEO Eric Scully will join Sikich as a partner, and the deal expands Sikich's capabilities and offerings for government clients.

Cinven Agrees to Acquire MBCC Admixtures from Sika

International private equity firm Cinven has signed an agreement to acquire MBCC Group’s Admixtures business from Sika AG. MBCC Admixtures, headquartered in Mannheim, Germany, is a global manufacturer of concrete admixtures with more than 1,600 employees and 35 production sites; the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to complete in the first half of the year.

S.i. Systems Acquires Elign Consulting

S.i. Systems ULC has acquired Minneapolis-based Elign Consulting to expand its U.S. footprint and broaden its tech-enabled staffing and workforce solutions capabilities. Elign will remain headquartered in Minneapolis with founder and CEO Linh Cravens continuing to lead the business as part of the S.i. Systems organization; terms were not disclosed.

Bain Capital Provides $250M Minority Growth Investment in Sikich

Sikich will maintain majority control and its existing management team as it uses the capital to accelerate growth, pursue acquisitions and enhance operational capabilities.
