Los Angeles-based private equity firm Gallant Capital Partners has completed an investment in Quality Built, a national provider of third-party quality assurance and inspection services for the residential and commercial construction industry. Gallant will partner with Quality Built management (CEO Brian Kramer and President Beth Michaelis) to support growth, expand the company's national footprint, and pursue strategic acquisitions while leveraging Quality Built's software platform and proprietary database.

The businesses will continue to operate under distinct brands and the deal is positioned as an add-on to expand TDS's service footprint and capabilities in the Mid-Atlantic.

Technical Safety Services (a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners) completed four strategic add-on acquisitions: Northeast Medical Consulting (Ohio), AIRTEST (New Hampshire), Cornerstone Commissioning (Massachusetts) and Quality Systems Integration (Massachusetts). The acquisitions expand TSS's testing, inspection, certification and commissioning capabilities across cleanrooms, medical gas systems and validation engineering to better serve pharmaceutical, biotechnology and healthcare customers.

QualiTest Group Acquires Test Direct Limited

BuildTec Software Group Acquires GLASER Programmsysteme GmbH

TestEquity (Distribution Solutions Group) Acquires National Test Equipment

TestEquity, an operating company of Distribution Solutions Group (DSG), acquired National Test Equipment for approximately $7.8 million to expand calibration, refurbishment, rental and leasing capabilities. The deal, funded from DSG's existing credit facility, is expected to add more than $9 million in annual sales and over $1.4 million of adjusted EBITDA, broadening TestEquity's technical services and rental offerings.
