Husemann & Fritz, a Bielefeld-based specialist in construction management software with over 16,000 users and more than 40 employees, will complement BuildTec’s portfolio to strengthen offerings for construction and trade customers.

BuildTec Software Group, a European construction-software platform backed by funds advised by BU Bregal Unternehmerkapital (and supported by VIA Equity), has acquired SORBA EDV AG, a St. Gallen–based provider of modular construction ERP software. The deal adds SORBA’s roughly 80+ employees and more than 2,500 Swiss construction customers to the BuildTec platform and is intended to accelerate growth and cross-border expansion in Switzerland and the wider DACH region.

E-Komplet, founded in 2012 and headquartered in Aalborg, supports Danish small and medium trade businesses (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.), and the deal expands BuildTec's capabilities and footprint in the Nordics and trade verticals.

The deal expands BuildTec's product portfolio (complementing SEMA and other holdings), supports accelerated product development and cross-selling, and secures continuity for DigiPara's customers and employees.

Iptor Acquires TimberTec

Stockholm-based Iptor acquired German TimberTec, a provider of ERP and MES software for the timber industry, in a deal that closed in February 2022. The acquisition is an add-on in Iptor's buy-and-build strategy (backed by funds advised by Bregal Unternehmerkapital) and aims to expand Iptor’s sector capabilities and geographic reach across Europe and into the US.
