ASSA ABLOY Acquires Wallace & Wallace and Wallace Perimeter Security

ASSA ABLOY has acquired Canadian manufacturer, distributor and installer Wallace & Wallace (also referred to as Wallace Perimeter Security), which makes perimeter fencing, doors and gate solutions for commercial and residential markets. The Winnipeg-based business (founded 1946) has about 160 employees and C$57 million in 2024 sales; ASSA ABLOY said the deal strengthens its Perimeter Security offering and presence in Central Canada.

ASSA ABLOY Acquires Norshield Security Products

ASSA ABLOY has acquired Norshield Security Products, a U.S.-based manufacturer of certified ballistic, attack- and blast-resistant openings and enclosures, based in Montgomery, Alabama. The acquisition, from the Spell Family Office/Spell Capital Partners, expands ASSA ABLOY's high-security product portfolio and is expected to be accretive to earnings immediately.

RoadSafe Traffic Systems Acquires Bay Area Barricade Service, Inc.

RoadSafe Traffic Systems, the nation’s largest provider of traffic control and pavement marking services, has acquired Bay Area Barricade Service, Inc. (BABS), a Concord, California-based provider of job site and traffic safety products. The deal expands RoadSafe’s West Coast footprint in California; Craig Songster will remain in a transitional role to support the integration.

Sunray, founded in 1980 and headquartered in Kent with about 70 employees and ~£12m in 2022 sales, will strengthen ASSA ABLOY's door specification offering and presence in the UK and EMEIA markets.
