Harbor Wholesale Acquires MTC Distributing Co.

Harbor Wholesale, a family-owned distributor based in Lacey, Washington, has acquired Modesto, California–based MTC Distributing Co. The deal combines regional distribution networks across the West Coast, preserves MTC's local management (Tom Eakin remains in an advisory role), and increases purchasing scale and service coverage for convenience stores, independent grocers, and quick-serve restaurants.

USTC Corp Acquires Multicom

The acquisition expands USTC's U.S. footprint (now 13 locations), strengthens its East Coast presence, and adds Multicom's product lines and Latin American customer relationships to the group's capabilities.

Consolidated Machine & Tool Holdings Acquires Waiteco Machine and Specialty CNC

Consolidated Machine & Tool Holdings (CMT), a platform company backed by White Wolf Capital, acquired Waiteco Machine (Devens, MA) and Specialty CNC (Bloomington, IN) as add-on acquisitions to expand manufacturing capacity and capabilities. Both transactions closed on August 14, 2020; financial terms were not disclosed and each target will operate within the CMT platform to support growth and employee benefits.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Acquires Concentric, LLC

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) completed the acquisition of 100% of Concentric, LLC from OnPoint Group on October 2. The acquisition establishes a new North American structure to expand MHI’s capabilities in power systems, electrification and energy services for data centers, logistics warehouses and industrial facilities.

HMT LLC Acquires Weld Spec, Inc.

HMT LLC, a provider of above-ground storage tank solutions, has acquired Weld Spec, Inc., an industrial inspection and non-destructive testing services provider based in Lumberton, Texas. The acquisition expands HMT's inspection capabilities (including NDT, metallurgical lab testing, rope and drone services) and strengthens its service offering to pipeline, refining, petrochemical, wind energy and manufacturing customers.

Lineage Logistics Acquires MTC Logistics

Lineage Logistics acquired MTC Logistics, a cold-chain provider operating four refrigerated facilities near key U.S. East and Gulf Coast ports (Baltimore, Wilmington, Philadelphia and Mobile). The deal adds nearly 38 million cubic feet of capacity and over 113,000 pallet positions to Lineage's global temperature-controlled network; financial terms were not disclosed. MTC was a wholly owned subsidiary of Hoffberger Holdings, Inc.
