Lineage Logistics Acquires MTC Logistics

Lineage Logistics acquired MTC Logistics, a cold-chain provider operating four refrigerated facilities near key U.S. East and Gulf Coast ports (Baltimore, Wilmington, Philadelphia and Mobile). The deal adds nearly 38 million cubic feet of capacity and over 113,000 pallet positions to Lineage's global temperature-controlled network; financial terms were not disclosed. MTC was a wholly owned subsidiary of Hoffberger Holdings, Inc.

Harbor Foodservice Acquires NW Foodservice Distribution

Harbor Foodservice, a family-owned independent distributor based in Kent, Washington, has acquired NW Foodservice Distribution, a Longview, Washington-based broadline foodservice distributor that serves Southwest Washington and Northwest Oregon. The acquisition expands Harbor's presence in the Pacific Northwest and strengthens its local distribution capabilities for restaurants, convenience stores, schools and other foodservice customers.

Hillcore Group Acquires MTE Logistix

Hillcore Group has completed the acquisition of MTE Logistix, one of Western Canada’s largest third-party logistics (3PL) providers. MTE operates more than 3.5 million sq. ft. of warehouse space across Edmonton and Calgary and serves 150+ clients across food & beverage, building materials, healthcare and industrial end markets; Hillcore said the deal is part of a plan to build a national logistics platform and expand MTE's footprint by ~1.5 million sq. ft.

The deal, completed Nov. 13, 2023, expands Baltimore Potomac's footprint in Tidewater Virginia and brings additional OEM franchises (including Isuzu) and trailer lines into its portfolio.

Staci Americas Acquires Moulton Logistics

Staci Americas has acquired Moulton Logistics, a Los Angeles–based fulfillment and customer service provider, adding four facilities (three in Los Angeles, one in South Brunswick, NJ) and ~500,000 square feet to its network. The deal expands Staci Americas' national fulfillment footprint to 15 facilities—enabling 1–2 day ground delivery to 95% of the U.S.—and brings Moulton's DRTV fulfillment expertise and large customer service contact center into Staci's service suite.
