Nelson Global Products Acquires Tru-Flex

Nelson Global Products, a Wind Point Partners-backed manufacturer of thermal, acoustic and fluid-management components, has acquired Tru-Flex LLC, a West Lebanon, Indiana-based maker of engineered flexible elements for exhaust systems with manufacturing in Indiana and Zimna Wodka, Poland. The add-on expands Nelson's NVH and exhaust-component capabilities and adds European manufacturing footprint; HBM Holdings (the Tru-Flex parent) will retain an ownership position via an investment in Nelson.

Capital portfolio platform) completed add-on acquisitions of Shape, Inc.; Engineered Equipment Solutions; Newman Regency Group; and Southwest Valve & Equipment to expand its municipal and industrial water/wastewater product and service footprint across the United States. Each company will remain branded and led by its existing management team, with key principals joining as shareholders of UFT; terms were not disclosed.

Fulton Asset Management, a family-backed investment platform based in Chicago, has acquired AFCO Industries, Inc., a vertically integrated U.S. manufacturer of aluminum, fiberglass, vinyl, and composite building products and a provider of CNC metal fabrication and contract manufacturing services headquartered in Alexandria, Louisiana. AFCO's existing leadership will remain in place; Fulton said the deal expands its industrial portfolio and reflects a long-term commitment to U.S. manufacturing.

Fosbel (The Anderson Group Portfolio) Acquires Wahl Refractory Solutions

Fosbel, a portfolio company of The Anderson Group, has acquired the assets of Wahl Refractory Solutions and will continue operating out of Wahl’s Fremont, Ohio manufacturing plant. The acquisition vertically integrates Fosbel’s supply chain and enables expansion into new end markets such as cement and aluminum.
