An affiliate of Sun Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of Total Transportation Services (TTSI), a leading U.S. drayage and intermodal transportation provider headquartered in Rancho Dominguez, California. Sun Capital said it will support TTSI’s growth and pursue consolidation in the highly fragmented drayage market while professionalizing operations and accelerating M&A activity.

Nationwide Transport Services LLC (NTS), a Fort Lauderdale–based 3PL provider, has acquired the 25-year-old container shipping brand ContainerTransport.com. The deal adds container drayage and global container shipping capabilities to NTS's portfolio, strengthens its presence near JAXPORT (Jacksonville), and expands service offerings across the United States, Canada and internationally.

Titanium Transportation Group Inc. acquired all shares of International Truckload Services Group (ITS) for approximately $60.5 million (cash and assumption of net debt), adding ITS' assets, footprint and customer base to Titanium's platform. ITS, founded in 1986 and based in Belleville, Ontario, generates about $80 million in annual revenue, operates ~330 power units and 1,600 trailers, and employs roughly 470 people; the deal expands Titanium's scale and geographic coverage across southern Ontario, Quebec and the United States.

AIT Worldwide Logistics Acquires Global Transport Solutions Group

AIT Worldwide Logistics has acquired Global Transport Solutions Group (GTS), a Netherlands-headquartered specialist in time-critical marine spare parts logistics. The deal brings GTS’ more than 600 teammates across 16 locations and nine consolidation hubs into AIT’s global network, adding marine spare-parts capabilities, warehouse capacity and new geographic presence in Greece, Japan and the Nordics; terms were not disclosed.
