AEFP Group, a North American precision parts and assemblies platform backed by Emko Capital, has acquired Johnson Precision Products of Santa Ana, California and named industry veteran Joe DeMartino as CEO of the group. The add-on strengthens AEFP Group’s hydraulics and fuel-systems component capabilities and expands its electro-mechanical assembly offerings for aerospace and defense customers.

Impact Capital Group served as exclusive advisor to Vantage; the deal brings together Vantage's composites and thermoforming capabilities with AEP's bonding, finishing, and testing expertise to expand product capabilities and accelerate growth in commercial and military aerospace markets.

TriMas Acquires Omega Plastics and TFI Aerospace

TriMas (NASDAQ: TRS) announced bolt-on acquisitions of Omega Plastics (added to TriMas Packaging) and TFI Aerospace (added to TriMas Aerospace). Omega, a Clinton Township, Michigan injection-molding and tooling company serving medical and industrial markets, generated about $18M of revenue in 2021; TFI, near Toronto, is a specialty aerospace fastener supplier with about $6M of revenue. TriMas said both targets are private, family-owned companies and expects the deals to expand product offerings and manufacturing capacity while keeping net leverage below 2.0x.

Karman Missile & Space Systems Acquires AAE Aerospace

The deal expands Karman's end-to-end production capabilities for critical propulsion components and keeps AAE's senior leadership as equity holders; Trive served as the sponsor and advisors included Lazard Middle Market and D.A. Davidson.
