The add-on expands MPG's outdoor product portfolio and will keep GCI operating from its Higganum, Connecticut facility; terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition is an add-on to MPG's outdoor platform and will expand its camping and automotive product offerings; Rightline's founder and CEO Loran Evans will remain with the company.

MacNeill Pride Group (MPG), a portfolio company of Centre Partners, has acquired Klymit, a Kaysville, Utah-based designer and manufacturer of lightweight outdoor sleeping pads, tents and camping accessories. The deal expands MPG's outdoor recreation platform alongside recent purchases of GCI Outdoor and ORCA; terms were not disclosed and Klymit CEO Cory Tholl will remain with the company.

Dometic Group AB Acquires Igloo Products Corp.

Sweden-based Dometic Group AB agreed to acquire U.S. cooler maker Igloo Products Corp. for $677 million on a cash- and debt-free basis, with an additional earn-out of up to $223 million. The deal (expected to close in Q4 2021) was sourced from private-equity owner ACON Investments (with Hauser Private Equity involved) and is intended to strengthen Dometic's North American sales and distribution footprint.

Wind Point Partners Acquires RTIC Outdoors

Wind Point Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has acquired RTIC Outdoors, the largest direct-to-consumer provider of premium coolers, tumblers, bottles and travel bags based in Houston, Texas. The Jacobsen brothers retain meaningful ownership stakes and will remain involved while Wind Point installs Bill Pond as CEO to drive the company's next phase of DTC eCommerce growth and leadership succession.

Cold Chain Technologies Acquires Packaging Technology Group (PTG)

The add-on strengthens CCT's sustainable thermal packaging portfolio and expands its capabilities and product offering for biopharmaceutical customers; terms were not disclosed.
