Westrock Coffee Company has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire North Carolina-based S&D Coffee & Tea from Cott Corporation. BBH Capital Partners will provide acquisition capital alongside Westrock's existing investors, including The Stephens Group, and the combined business — which will employ approximately 1,700 people globally — will create a leading integrated coffee, tea, and extract supplier; S&D President and CEO Ron Hinson will remain with the combined organization as Chairman Emeritus.

Keurig Dr Pepper Acquires DSD Territory Rights in East Texas and Northern Louisiana

Keurig Dr Pepper agreed to acquire the manufacturing, sales and direct-store-delivery (DSD) distribution rights to key KDP-owned and licensed brands across 37 counties in east Texas and northern Louisiana from The Red River Beverage Group and The Made‑Rite Company. The move brings brands such as Canada Dry, A&W, 7UP, Sunkist, Snapple, CORE and Bai into KDP’s company-owned DSD operations beginning February 2021; terms were not disclosed.

Sweeping Corporation of America Acquires B&D Enterprises

Sweeping Corporation of America (SCA) acquired B&D Enterprises, an Orlando-based stormwater and pipe cleaning contractor, to expand its JetVac service offering across the Southeast. The acquisition adds over 30 employees to SCA, and B&D founder Don Hess will join SCA's team; terms were not disclosed.

Quench Acquires Neighbors Coffee Co.

Quench USA, Inc., a Culligan company based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, has acquired Neighbors Coffee, a South Florida office coffee supplier owned by David Santana for over 35 years. The acquisition expands Quench's breakroom and coffee service capabilities in South Florida and adds local customers to its national water, ice and coffee service platform.

Gala Capital Acquires Dunn Brothers Coffee

Gala Capital, led by Anand Gala, acquired Dunn Brothers Coffee, a 59-unit, 100% franchised coffee chain founded in 1987. The deal closed in June with Gala Capital taking control July 1; Dunn Brothers' leadership, including President Kim Plahn, will remain in place as Gala plans to grow the brand via catering, third-party delivery, e-commerce and store expansion.
