Crestview Partners Completes Majority Investment in JMP Solutions

Crestview Partners has made a majority investment in JMP Solutions, a London, Ontario-based automation systems integrator, as the first step in a planned $200 million build-up to create a global automation solutions platform. JMP’s leadership will remain in place and Crestview aims to expand JMP’s technology, engineering and geographic footprint to serve diverse industrial and consumer end markets.

Convergix Automation Solutions Acquires Eagle Technologies

Convergix Automation Solutions, a PE-backed automation platform sponsored by Crestview Partners, has acquired Eagle Technologies, a Bridgman, Michigan-based systems integrator specializing in turnkey automated production and testing solutions. The deal is Convergix's fourth add-on under Crestview's strategy to build a diversified automation provider and brings Convergix's pro forma revenue to about $250 million; financial terms were not disclosed.

Crestview Aerospace Acquires Kemco Aerospace Manufacturing

Crestview Aerospace, a portfolio company of American Industrial Partners, has acquired Kemco Aerospace Manufacturing, a St. Louis-based precision machining and aerospace components manufacturer. KAL Capital Markets acted as sell-side advisor to Kemco in the transaction, which adds machining capacity and defense/aerospace manufacturing capabilities to the Crestview platform.

Crestview Partners Acquires Smyth Companies

Crestview Partners has completed the acquisition of Smyth Companies, a leading provider of pressure sensitive labels, shrink sleeves, in-mold labels and flexible packaging, from Novacap. Crestview is investing alongside members of Smyth's founding family and the company's management team and plans to allocate additional equity to support organic investments and M&A as Smyth pursues tuck-in and transformational acquisitions.

Peak Technologies Acquires North Coast Technical

Peak Technologies, a portfolio company of Sole Source Capital, has acquired North Coast Technical, a Chesterland, Ohio-based provider of machine vision hardware and image processing software. The acquisition expands Peak's machine vision and AI capabilities to better serve manufacturing, logistics and retail customers; North Coast's founder and CEO Dave Sexton will remain in his role.
