T.Y. Lin International (TYLI), a global infrastructure consulting firm and member of Dar Group, has acquired Silman, a New York–based structural engineering firm founded in 1966. The acquisition brings Silman’s ~160 staff and deep capabilities in structural engineering, historic preservation, and adaptive reuse into TYLI to strengthen its Buildings Market Sector and expand technical capacity across the Americas.
