Quanex Building Products Acquires Tyman plc

Quanex Building Products Corporation agreed to acquire the entire issued and to be issued share capital of Tyman plc in a recommended cash-and-share offer valuing Tyman at approximately $1.1 billion enterprise value. The deal, unanimously approved by both boards and backed by committed financing, combines complementary window and door hardware, access solutions, and seals/extrusions portfolios to create a larger global building-products supplier with pro forma revenue of roughly $2 billion.
