Brivo Acquires Parakeet to Add Smart Building Capabilities

Brivo, a Bethesda-based provider of cloud-based physical security, acquired Parakeet Technologies, an IoT smart-building solutions provider for vacation rentals and remote property management. The deal will integrate Parakeet’s sensors, gateways, and management software into Brivo’s platform to expand in‑building capabilities and offer unified billing, UI, and bundled services to channel partners and end customers.
