LAZ Parking Acquires 60% Stake in INDIGO Park Canada

LAZ Parking has acquired a 60% majority stake in INDIGO Park Canada Inc., creating North America's largest tech-driven parking, transportation, and mobility company. The deal reunites LAZ and the INDIGO Group, expands LAZ's footprint to more than 5,300 locations and 2 million parking spaces across North America, and will preserve IPC’s leadership under CEO John Laires; Argo Infrastructure Partners is an investor in LAZ and supported the transaction.

IPS Group Acquires Populus Technologies

IPS Group, a San Diego-based provider of smart parking and curb management technologies, has acquired Populus Technologies, a San Francisco-based provider of mobility data, curb management and parking payments software. The acquisition will integrate Populus' mobility and curb-data platform with IPS's parking, payment and enforcement systems to expand IPS's smart mobility capabilities for municipalities, universities, transportation agencies and private operators.

FlashParking Acquires Parking Division of Control Systems Incorporated (CSI)

FlashParking, a parking mobility technology company based in Austin, Texas, acquired the Parking Division of Control Systems Incorporated (CSI), a Connecticut-based parking systems provider. The purchase expands FlashParking's customer base in the U.S. Northeast (approximately 1,600 CSI customers) and transfers most of CSI's team to FlashParking while CSI retains a maintenance business for legacy equipment.

ParkHelp Acquires Cleverciti Systems to Create Unified Parking and Curb Management Platform

ParkHelp has acquired Cleverciti Systems GmbH to combine ParkHelp's off-street parking guidance systems with Cleverciti's AI-powered curb management and on-street guidance technologies, creating a single cloud-based platform covering indoor/outdoor and on-/off-street parking. Cleverciti will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary and its team will remain in place as the companies integrate products and expand global reach.

Towne Park Acquires Frogparking

The deal is intended to expand Towne Park’s technology-enabled product suite and enhance solutions for hotels, healthcare campuses, airports, municipalities and commercial operators.

indie Semiconductor Acquires GEO Semiconductor

indie Semiconductor (Nasdaq: INDI) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire GEO Semiconductor, a private fabless supplier of camera video processors for automotive applications, for $180 million in aggregate consideration (approximately $90 million cash plus ~12 million INDI Class A shares) with the potential to earn up to an additional $90 million tied to performance. The deal adds GEO's camera-based image-processing technology and patents to indie's portfolio to enable full sensor fusion (Radar, LiDAR, Ultrasound and Computer Vision) for ADAS and next-generation automotive systems; closing was expected in Q1 2023 subject to customary conditions.
