Markforged Acquires Teton Simulation Software

Markforged has acquired Teton Simulation, maker of the SmartSlice 3D print validation and optimization software, and will integrate the technology into its Eiger software as a subscription add‑on. Teton’s team will join Markforged’s software organization to scale SmartSlice across Markforged’s Digital Forge platform; terms were not disclosed.

Markforged Acquires Digital Metal

Markforged (NYSE: MKFG) completed the acquisition of Digital Metal from Höganäs AB for approximately $32 million in cash, ~4.1 million shares of Markforged common stock and $1.5 million to settle intercompany balances. The deal brings Digital Metal's binder-jetting metal additive manufacturing capabilities and team (headquartered in Höganäs, Sweden) into Markforged as a subsidiary to expand high-throughput metal production offerings and integrate with Markforged's software and go-to-market engine.
