Kenco, a Chattanooga-based third-party logistics provider, has acquired Dallas-based The Shippers Group in a transaction that adds 3.8 million square feet of warehousing across eight sites in Florida, Georgia and Texas. The deal expands Kenco's capacity, geographic reach and co-packaging/fulfillment capabilities; terms were not disclosed.

PLS Logistics Services Acquires D&L Transport

PLS Logistics Services, a technology-driven third-party logistics provider based in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, has acquired D&L Transport, a freight brokerage headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. D&L will operate as an independent subsidiary with Brian DeFrain remaining president, and PLS expects the transaction to increase its annual revenue run rate to $950 million (with a projected ~$1.2 billion in 2022).

Canada Cartage Acquires Stalco Inc.

Brookfield Business Partners Acquires DexKo Global from KPS Capital Partners

Brookfield Business Partners L.P., together with its institutional partners, agreed to acquire DexKo Global Inc. from KPS Capital Partners for $3.4 billion. DexKo, a Novi, Michigan–based manufacturer of chassis technology and trailer/RV components employing more than 6,000 people with global production and distribution footprint, was transformed under KPS via 15 acquisitions and operational improvements prior to the sale.
